Marco was Paul’s mentor when he joined Fedegari SpA in Pavia, just as he had mentored his father 25 years earlier.

Pavia, Lombardia, Italy

Pavia is a city south of Milan, in Italy. It’s known for the Certosa di Pavia, a Renaissance monastery complex, with sculptural and fresco decorations, north of the town. Its mediaeval castle stands on the bank of the river Ticino, the other sides fortified by a canal using lock gates designed by Leonardo da Vinci. Rice is farmed in the paddies nearby, flooded at planting time.
