Climate Action Community Orchard

We’ve embarked on a long-term trial, mainly of macadamia nut trees. A double advantage here – carbon sequestration plus the promise of a valuable annual crop. We are encouraging the involvement of school kids and the wider community.

The trees will be interplanted with vegetables, needed to bring an income while the saplings mature – time will tell.
